True story today 2-9-2012:

Today, as I went to rush out of the office, my desk was full of case files and applications. I was late leaving to pick up my son from school. I glanced at the clock, 4:09. I was 23 miles away from him and was due there at 4:30. Plus, Atlanta traffic!

I cannot fully describe the intense pull that had me headed toward the door. I glance back at my desk, I remember how much work we did together in just 90 minutes, and I dart back.  I was working at a fever pace, but I was able to see you and how you had organized and systematized my work matter.

I collected, organized, and filed using the system we had implemented only one day before.  I left my office 4 minutes later with all systems in tack. All of my “to do” items were in their proper folders and files. Damn, I am proud. Thank you.

I haven’t done that in over 7 years! Yeah!  I was late to pick up my son. 8 minutes. I was probably speeding. He didn’t even register that I was late. Whew!
